Privacy Policy

This policy describes how AIthlete collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our Service, including when you submit your information through our lead forms on Facebook and Instagram.

01Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

02Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Account
A unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

Refers to AIthlete, 5642 Dalhousie Road, Vancouver, British Columbia V6T 1W4 ("the Company", "We", "Us", "Our").

Small files placed on Your device by a website, containing details of Your browsing history among other uses.

03Data we collect

Personal data

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You, including but not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
  • Usage Data

Usage data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service, and may include Your Device's IP address, browser type and version, the pages of Our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. When You access the Service through a mobile device, We may also collect Your mobile device type, unique device ID, mobile operating system, and mobile browser type.

04Lead form data

When You submit Your information through a lead generation form — including forms hosted on third-party platforms such as Meta/Facebook and Instagram — We collect the specific fields presented in that form, which may include Your name, email address, and phone number.

Purpose limitation. Data collected through a lead form is used only for the specific purpose disclosed to You in the campaign or offer through which it was collected — for example, responding to a consultation request or booking inquiry. We will not repurpose this data for unrelated communications, such as general marketing newsletters, unless You separately consent to that use.

05Third-party sign-in

The Company allows You to create an account and log in through the following Third-party Social Media Services: Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

If You register through, or otherwise grant Us access to, a Third-Party Social Media Service, We may collect Personal data already associated with that account, such as Your name, email address, activities, or contact list. You may also choose to share additional information with the Company through that account; doing so gives the Company permission to use and store it consistent with this Privacy Policy.

06Cookies & tracking technologies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies — beacons, tags, and scripts — to track activity on Our Service and improve it. Cookies can be "Persistent" (remain after You go offline) or "Session" (deleted when You close Your browser).

Where Personal Data is collected through a lead generation form, We limit Our use of that data to the purpose stated at the point of collection, unless You provide separate consent for additional uses.

08Retention

The Company retains Your Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our agreements. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where needed to strengthen security, improve functionality, or meet a longer legal retention requirement.

09International transfer

Your information may be processed at the Company's operating offices and other locations where parties involved in processing are based, which may be outside Your province or country. By submitting Your information, You agree to that transfer. The Company takes reasonable steps to ensure Your data is treated securely and in line with this Privacy Policy, and will not transfer Your Personal Data to an organization or country without adequate controls in place.

10Your rights

You have the right to delete, or request Our help deleting, the Personal Data We've collected about You. Where the Service allows, You may update, amend, or delete Your information directly within Your Account settings, or by contacting Us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of Your personal information. Note that We may need to retain certain information where We have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

11Disclosure of your data

Business transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

The security of Your Personal Data matters to Us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While We use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

13Service providers

Analytics

Google Analytics tracks and reports website traffic; Google may use collected data to personalize its own advertising network. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. See Google's Privacy & Terms.

Matomo is a web analytics service. See their Privacy Policy.

Email marketing

We may use Your Personal Data to send newsletters, marketing, or promotional materials where You've consented or where such use is otherwise permitted under this Policy. You can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting Us.

Payments

We do not store or collect Your payment card details directly — that information goes to Our third-party payment processors, who adhere to PCI-DSS standards: PayPal and Authorize.net.

14Behavioral remarketing

The Company uses, or may in the future use, remarketing services to advertise to You after You've visited Our Service. We and Our third-party vendors use cookies and non-cookie technologies, including the Meta Pixel described above, to recognize Your Device, understand how You use Our Service, and serve advertisements likely to interest You.

Vendors we use

Google Ads (AdWords) — remarketing via Google Inc. Manage preferences via the Google Ads Settings page.

15Children's policy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13, and We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If You are a parent or guardian aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us — We will take steps to remove that information. Where consent is required as a legal basis and Your country requires parental consent, We will seek that consent before collecting and using a minor's information.

17Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify You of changes by posting the new policy on this page, and — prior to the change becoming effective — via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service. We'll also update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please review this policy periodically.
